Good food in a lovely atmosphere. Fried fish gurami sweet and sour was tasty. Wedang jahe (ginger hot infusion) didn't taste enough ginger to me. Menu also translated in English but hard to read. Staff can recommend you their best sellers.

Have the cozy place for hangout.. I've been here yesterday with my wife n friends.. Taking litle more time for serving the gurame's.. But we was waiting with fished in a good pool around there... I have one reason trouble in there. The glass table on room number two is need improvement!.. My wife got crashed to border glass table.. Please fix it ASAP.. Its dangerous for childs..

Resto Kolamkita was super cute and Mba Anita's excellent service really made our visit special. The ambiance was nice, sitting by the fishing pond on a rainy afternoon. I would rate the food as solidly okay. I have no pics because we were so hungry by the time the food got there that we inhaled it all. We were told there was a problem in the kitchen so we knew we would have to wait but...we were so hungry and the wait was a bit more than an hour. Even then the gurame bakar was raw in the thickest part, which was pretty disappointing. We got gurame bakar ketchap - it tasted like bbq sauce. The udang bakar madu (honey bbq prawns) were pretty tasty. 35k for 6 prawns. The cah kangkung (water spinach) was standard. The best flavor came from the sambal hijau (green chilli sambal). Iced milo with sweetened condensed milk was a cool treat while we waited. We bought pisang goreng and roti bakar milo to go. We'll see how that turns out. If you're not in a hurry and are cool hanging out in a bamboo hut by the fishing pond for a couple hours, this is the spot for you.

My family and I were quite satisfied with the service, ambiance, and food quality offered, although there are some important notes that need to be considered by the restaurant. Some positive points you mentioned are: 1. Varied food options with reasonable prices. 2. A natural ambiance that's close to nature (fish pond, private atmosphere). 3. Delicious food that's not just a "trend". 4. Wash basin can be found everywhere 5. Clean toiletes and proper praying corner. 6. Fishes are tame and friendly However, there are some things that need to be improved, such as: 1. Maintenance of the place and facilities that are lacking attention (unkept plants, overgrown entrance). 2. Safety and accessibility aspects that need to be improved (high stairs, wooden bridge that's not safe). 3. Not a budget based dining destination.

The resto area is quite spacious, consisting of several shack (about 6, with the gap of more than 2 meters away, each other) and there is a pond with lots of fish at the centre. Nice place to take kids, they will love to see this natural event. The price is sligthly above average in banyuwangi, but the place and the food is well served. Recommended place to eat with family during a pandemic, because of its an open area. Also good for those who are dating, they play soft romantic songs.
